Recommendation

I had recently placed an add on craigslist.org to rehome my African Grey parrot do to him screaming/beeping all the time. I have a 2 month old baby who has some health issues and it makes it hard for me to spend time with my parrot and I felt it wasn't fair to him.  I received an email from Theresa wanting to work with me to be able to keep my parrot. She worked with me and gave me several idea's to try to get him to stop the behavior. Unfortunately, it didn't work and I had decided, with Theresa's  guidance to place him in foster care for a couple of month's to allow my daughter to get a little older and hopefully resolve the medical issues she has. This would allow Paulie to get the attention he needs and deserves. This was a VERY hard decision  to make I was VERY emotional. Theresa was very compassionate, patient, understanding, reassuring and just over all wonderful. She suggested a lady that lives by her to take in my bird. The good thing about that is she has been able to go check on him and has been reporting back to me about how he's doing and how the foster mom is doing with him. I would HIGHLY Recommend Theresa for a foster placement, She is a very loving and patient woman. I have heard her interact with her birds and am very impressed how she takes the time with them and talk's to them. It is with great pleasure that I recommend KT Foster Birds. I have known both Theresa Stuetzel and Kelly Weir for many years.

They have always displayed a high degree of integrity, responsibility, and compassion.  I have worked with both ladies directly in rescuing, rehabilitating, and fostering birds for some time. Both had actually adopted birds from our licensed bird rescue. Kelly is currently a foster home for us as well. I am impressed with the amount of dedication and knowledge that they both possess in regards to birds. They are not afraid to jump in and do what needs to be done.

By doing what needs to be done, this often places them in uncomfortable positions. This has never deterred them from keeping sight of their true goal; making sure every bird is well taken care of and loved. I have consulted with them in the past in regards to birds, and continue to offer any and all support that I can to help further their cause of preventing homeless birds. They provide a priceless service to all who find themselves in an unfortunate situation where they must make a decision regarding their Fid.

I definitely support KT Foster Birds, and I am happy to give them my wholehearted endorsement.
